All school board elections and budget votes across New York State are scheduled for May 19, 2026.

PETITIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE WAYNE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION

Candidates interested in running for the Board of Education may print the Candidate packet below or contact the District Clerk Nanette Landis Coro (ncoro@waynecsd.org or 315-524-1011) to make arrangements to pick up a packet from the District Office, 6200 Ontario Center Road, Ontario Center, NY. 
 

Completed petitions must be filed with the District Clerk no later than April 20, 2026.
 

Qualifications of Candidates:
To be eligible to run for a Board of Education seat, candidates must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen, must be a resident of the school district for one (1) year prior to the school election, be able to read and write, discharge from parole or any prison term for a felony has expired, not removed from any school district office for one (1) year prior to the school election, does not reside with another member of the same Board of Education, is not an employee of the Board of Education or school district, and does not hold another incompatible public office.

Candidates interested in running for the Board of Education must complete the packet below and return it to the District Office, Nanette Landis-Coro, District Clerk, no later than April 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
