NOTICE OF FILING OF THE BASIC FINANCIAL

STATEMENTS AUDIT REPORT, LETTER OF COMMUNICATION AND

MANAGEMENT LETTER FOR THE FISCAL YEAR

ENDING JUNE 30, 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to §35 of the NYS General Municipal Law and §2116(a) of the NYS Education Law, that MMB+Co / Metzger, Barr & Co., LLP has conducted the annual external audit, including the management letter, of the Wayne Central School District, Ontario Center, Wayne County, New York, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, and that said report was filed in the district clerk’s office on the 9th day of October, 2026, where it is available for inspection by all interested persons.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, pursuant to §5 of the NYS General Municipal Law, the Board of Education may, in its discretion, prepare a written response to said report and file same at the district office within ninety (90) days.

PUBLIC INSPECTION is available in the district office, located in the north wing of the high school building at 6200 Ontario Center Road, Ontario Center, N.Y., during regular business hours.
